Description

Keys to the role:

  • Management of inventory across the 3 warehouses
  • Responsible for re-ordering from preferred suppliers
  • Proactively managing existing inventory and making note of lead times for re-orders
  • Establishing par values & re-order points (automatically)
  • Creating Purchase Orders and keeping track of shipping documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, packing slips, etc)
  • Receiving and transfer of goods between warehouses in Navision (assisted by A/P)
  • Sourcing new suppliers
  • Good price negotiating skills
  • Assist with scheduling inventory regular cycle counts and year-end inventory count, and loading inventory quantities and costs into Navision
  • Incorporating landed costs to cost of goods in Navision
  • Create new inventory part numbers
  • Assist with month-end closing inventory



Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on buying experience, preferably in B2B
  • Strong large ERP experience; Microsoft Dynamics Navision (2015) preferred
  • Very good Excel skills
  • Not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
